Sponges

Sponges generally do not have a distinct digestive system. They filter food particles out of the water that flows through them. Water filters through pores called ostia, moves through canals to a chamber called a spongocoel, and exits through openings known as oscula.
Some examples of sponges are:

- Red Sponge
